Day late; Dollar short

I know it's not Thursday, but this looked fun.

Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Things about Trace

1. I love to scrapbook, but rarely find the time or inclination to do so.
2. I am so frustrated right now I want to scream.
3. My kids are the best, but I do not want to have another one. Might jinx myself.
4. I struggle with my body image on a daily basis.
5. I don't have many friends, but the ones I do have are amazing.
6. I want to go to church more often.
7. I do not like or respect my biological father (see amended "Numb" post).
8. I love having manicures, but hate getting them done.
9. I am a fantastic speller, and typos stress me out.
10. I want to go to Europe someday, but am terrified of flying.
11. I have met Alan Parsons twice; Steve Burns (yep, the Blue's Clues guy) three times. Alan is more talented. Steve is much more fun.
12. I am afraid of going back to work someday.
13. I want to meet more of my Internet friends.

You know, on one of the Steve or post-Steve boards, we did 100 things. I wish I could get that forum back up - that list was exhaustive!

That would be cool.

Any idea what he's up to these days?

Steve did a cover of a They Might Be Giants song called "Dead" and the video is dizzying. You can see it at:

The rumor mill has it Steve has a new label and is working on a new album with the FLips again. Maybe we need more burnt offerings to get him to move faster?

Trace! Look at poor Mandi - we need to educate her! Mandi, he can sing too. Quite well. Download the Mighty Little Man video and watch him run. *sigh*

Interesting things about Trace!

I wouldn't say that Alan Parsons is more talented, unless you're speaking technologically. Steve is the better lyicist and musician, I'd say.

Technologically is exactly what I meant. I forgot that AP didn't write most of his own lyrics; those were Eric Woolfson's masterpieces. So there you go - Steve Burns is more talented than Alan Parsons. Who knew?
