HATH HELL FROZEN OVER?
Must be holiday time, because the car is in the shop again. Initial quote: $448. Plus tax. Plus some other charges, I'm sure, as I have not paid it yet, and we all know how car "estimates" go.
I'm tired of car repairs, particularly since the Saturn will be twelve years old in January, and currently has about 175,000 miles on it. We've been coasting by with no car payments for the past year or so, but reliable transportation is more important, so I predict car shopping soon.

Well, what do you know. The repair shop just called and said that since they didn't have to replace the fuel filter, the cost dropped to $370. That has never happened. I'm too stunned to keep typing...
