WHADDAYA THINK?
I like this new format. It fits the new me, don't you think? All lighthearted and gay...yep, that's me.
Today I availed myself of the local thrift shop, where I got some really nice clothes for some really crazy-cheap prices. Even scored a pair of brand-new-with-tags Gap khakis for $1.25. Now that, my friends, is a good deal.
I was able to shop today for two reasons: (1) my foot is feeling better, and (2) we're going to Florida, baby! And get this - we're flying. We got a great deal from Hotwire.com, so we decided to go for it. In a way, I'm relieved we're not going to be spending 25 hours in the car. On the other hand, I'm scared freakin' snarfless of flying.
Stupid 9/11.
I'm not a chicken, really, but I do admit to wondering aloud how early in the morning I'm allowed to have hard liquor before I board a plane. Okay, not really. Well, not really that you know. Heh. [sigh]
In other, less exciting news, some of our digital cable channels went out this morning. Frustration ensued. We can't get Food Network (ch. 52), nor any channel over 100. I've already called the cable company, but unfortunately they can't fix it just by sending a new signal, so a service tech is scheduled to come out tomorrow afternoon. Bleh, I hate waiting on techs, particularly when I'm home alone.
Oh my dog, I am a chicken. Buh-GAWK!
